I have passionately worked in environmental conservation since QC and recently switched to a veterinary diagnostic company. Hubby and I currently live in central MA and have 3 sons (pilot, mechanical engineer and college freshman in environmental science). I have been a leader with BSA for 15 years and enjoy all types of outdoor adventures in my free time. Would LOVE to hear from my fellow Class of '86 "Bobcats"!!!

Jeraldlyn Mebane '76 retires after successful career

Jeraldlyn Mebane '76, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, is retired after a diverse career. Her career included 3.5 years at Avco Lycoming as a cost accountant; 20 years in corporate accounting and financial services (Clairol/Bristol-Myers Squibb CPG); nonprofit accounting for Kids in Crisis, a nonprofit organization; a family-owned real estate business and retail sales; as well as managing personal and family properties over the years. She said, "I always loved learning new things and staying challenged!"

Jennifer Moglia '24, MS '25, joins Live Nation Entertainment in NYC

After graduating in May 2025, Jennifer Moglia '24, MS '25, returned to Live Nation Entertainment in New York City full-time as a venue marketing coordinator. She interned in the company's media and sponsorship division as a creative copywriting associate in 2023. Moglia now leads marketing efforts for iconic Long Island venues Jones Beach Theater and Westbury Music Fair, and assists with marketing for the newly renovated and reopened Brooklyn Paramount. She recently began leading the NYC chapter of LNE's women's employee resource group, WE Nation, and worked her first concert at Madison Square Garden, capturing content for a sold-out Maroon 5 show.

Quinnipiac celebrates its 50th year of varsity men’s ice hockey in 2025. I'm one of the three captains of the inaugural team 1975-76. I currently still live in Hamden, and I’m the creator of the Area For Rest & Prayer on the Farmington Canal trail (4.3 mile marker in Hamden). This is an original team photo.

After 23 years working for the State of Connecticut Department of Children and Families (DCF) as an investigations social worker, I transferred to the State of Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection (DCP) and was recently promoted to special investigator in their Gaming Division.

Joy Maini, JD '06, has joined Harris Beach Murtha's Trusts and Estates Practice Group as Senior Counsel. Joy brings nearly 20 years of experience as an estate planner. She also serves as fiduciary and represents fiduciaries in the administration of complex trusts and estates and develops family succession and business plans. She is based in the firm's Bantam, CT, office.

Jeremiah Cottle, JD '03, graduates from National Defense University

I recently graduated from the National Defense University - College of International Security Affairs with a Master of Arts in Strategic Security Studies, Irregular Warfare Concentration. I also received Joint Professional Military Education Phase II Certification. I was one of only a few U.S. civilians to attend among U.S. and foreign military students. The institution is a U.S. Department of Defense senior leadership school where I was nominated and sent by my employer of 18 years, the U.S. Secret Service (USSS). I have returned to the USSS to bring back strategic skills to support the agency's dual mission of national leadership protection and financial crimes investigation. See attached photo of me receiving my degree from University President and USN Vice Admiral Peter T. Garvin. I am a 2003 JD graduate of the Quinnipiac School of Law.

Holly LaPrade ’06 was recently selected as the recipient of the Andy Thiede HR Certification Scholarship. The scholarship was created by Andrea (Andy) Thiede, a human resources professional from Berlin, CT, with a passion for helping others in the HR field. LaPrade is a human resources manager with the Banton Construction Company.

Justin Wilcox '10 named to Forbes’ inaugural Best-In-State CPAs 2025 list

Justin Wilcox '10, a partner at Glastonbury-based accounting and advisory firm FML, has been named to Forbes’ inaugural Best-In-State CPAs 2025 list. FML is the only firm in Connecticut to have three CPAs receive this honor. This year’s list identifies 1,000 of the finest CPAs from across all 50 states. Wilcox joined FML straight out of college and in less than 10 years became the youngest partner in the firm. He heads the firm’s cryptocurrency accounting practice, which he founded in 2018. Wilcox oversees U.S. federal and state tax compliance for FML, including U.S. foreign information reporting and financial accounting. He has also done pro bono tax filings and consulting for UConn’s Connecticut Center for Entrepreneurship (CCEI) program for the past seven years and is part of their summer fellowship.

I recently had the opportunity to speak on stage during the Opening Ceremony at the AORN Global Surgical Conference & Expo, one of the largest gatherings of perioperative professionals in the world. Even more exciting, I shared the stage with Carol Devlin, a respected leader in the field. Representing both the surgical nursing community and my roots at Quinnipiac University, this experience was a proud moment in my career.

I was promoted to graphics coordinator for New York Yankees baseball on the YES Network, where I am responsible for the accuracy of all statistics and graphics during Yankees games on YES and Prime Video. I previously served in the same role for Yankees & Nets studio coverage on YES for the last three years, and I also spent six seasons as graphics coordinator for YES's New York City FC coverage from 2017-2022.

Pullman & Comley LLC is pleased to announce the promotion of Matthew D. Glennon to member of the firm. Glennon, who joined Pullman & Comley’s Business Organizations and Finance practice in 2021, routinely assists clients in executing complex business matters. He focuses his practice on corporate and business law and financing, and has particular experience with mergers and acquisitions, debt transactions, advising on business formation and ownership transition matters, and serving as outside general counsel to his clients. Since the legalization of recreational cannabis in Connecticut, Glennon has continued to build a practice in this area and has been a key part of Pullman & Comley’s efforts in advising applicants and license holders on the new market. As the state developed its policy, Glennon communicated the impacts of the new legislation to clients and has remained on the leading edge of the industry as it continues to evolve in Connecticut. Westfair Business Journal named Glennon a 40 Under Forty honoree for Fairfield County in 2024 and Moffly Media recognized him as a Top Lawyer in Fairfield County in the area of Business Law in 2023. He was selected to the Connecticut Super Lawyers Rising Stars list in 2024 in the area of Business/Corporate. Glennon currently serves on the board of the Milford Regional Chamber of Commerce and previously served as treasurer for Judge Ben Gettinger when he ran for Milford-Orange Probate Judge and on the Milford Connecticut Pension and Retirement Board.
